At Em’s Doggy Days, all training takes place at our fully fenced, on-site facility in Hopkinton, MA. We focus on helping dogs and their owners build real-world skills through practical, positive training — no house calls, no overnight boarding, just customized sessions designed to fit your dog’s needs and your goals.
- Puppy Foundations — crate training, basic manners, socialization, and confidence-building for puppies.
- Obedience Training — leash skills, sit, down, place, stay, recall, and polite behaviors for dogs of all ages.
- Behavioral Support — help with common challenges like jumping, pulling, leash reactivity, or impulse control.
- Confidence & Enrichment Training — exercises to build calmness, focus, and resilience in new environments.
Training sessions are offered on-site by appointment only. Most sessions are one-on-one, ensuring your dog gets the attention and personalized coaching they deserve.

Hi, I’m Emily Davis — founder of Em’s Doggy Days and a lifelong dog lover with over 12 years of experience working with dogs in Hopkinton and surrounding towns. My journey began in local doggy daycares, where I gained hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Over time, I transitioned into professional training roles at several area facilities, developing a reputation for using practical, positive methods that help dogs (and their humans!) build confidence and connection.
In 2025, I launched Em’s Doggy Days to bring personalized, one-on-one training to the community I know and love. My goal is to make training feel approachable, fun, and effective — whether you’re raising a rambunctious puppy or working through behavioral challenges with an adult dog.
When I’m not training client dogs, I’m usually spending time with my own high-energy Belgian Malinois, competing in scent work and other dog sports. You may also meet my partner, John Tappan — a lifelong Hopkinton local and fellow dog enthusiast — who often helps out during sessions.
